Under the leadership of Henry Chang, founder of Cross and CEO of Nexus (formerly Action Square), the company is forging ahead through strategic partnerships, organizational growth, and targeted talent recruitment to shape the future of the CROSS platform.
Following CEO Chang’s appointment in January and the company’s rebranding from Action Square to Nexus, the organization has implemented a focused blockchain strategy centered on the CROSS platform. The company has secured partnerships with prominent game developers including Line Games, 0x& and TAB Games. These collaborations will enable CROSS to offer a diverse game portfolio spanning from casual titles like “Dragon Flight” to complex MMORPGs such as “Rappelz M,” supporting the platform’s genre diversification strategy.
While advancing rapidly in domestic markets, CROSS is simultaneously developing global infrastructure to support a sustainable blockchain gaming ecosystem. In February, the project established the Opengame Foundation (OGF) in Zug, Switzerland, a recognized center for blockchain innovation. The foundation will operate in accordance with the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation to ensure compliance with international regulatory standards.

The company has strengthened its leadership with the addition of Jae-Kyung Song to the OGF. Recognized as the “father of Lineage” for creating ‘The Kingdom of the Winds’ and ‘Lineage’ at Nexon and NCSoft, Song brings substantial industry expertise. Henry Chang states that Song will utilize his global network and knowledge in game development, blockchain, and AI to advance the foundation’s strategic objectives.
